Councillor for Wallasey Ward
Deputy Leader of the Conservative Councillors
Spokesman on the Merseyside Fire & Rescue Authority

Lesley Rennie is one of our local councillors representing Wallasey Ward on Wirral Council.

Before serving as a councillor, Lesley was a police officer in Wallasey and, following the recent cases of child sexual exploitation in Wirral, has been appointed to the Improvement Board, tasked with improving the way vulnerable children and young people in Wirral are protected.

Lesley has also volunteered with a range of local organisations, including Rotary International.  Lesley serves on Merseyside Fire & Rescue Authority.  She is a Life Member of the Friends of the North Wirral Coastal Park and serves on the Board of the Engineering College, set up by Mersey Maritime.

Lesley keeps in touch with residents all year round and works closely with Councillors Paul Hayes and Ian Lewis on issues in our community.  Lesley, Paul and Ian also lobby for a fair share of the Council's £800 million budget for Wallasey.

Our plan for Wirral:

  • Protecting our environment
  • Tackling Town Hall waste
  • Improving council services
  • Putting more police on the streets
  • Supporting local shops and town centres
